Love the heart shaped plates that coordinate perfectly with the Sweethearts candy and tea candle mason jars on this table above.

The black and white chevron background of this tiered table set up really make the red hearts pop! Perfect for a bridal shower or bachelorette party too! Visit my shop if you need some heart cupcake toppers.

This table set up is perfect for using your small tinsel Christmas trees- just leave them out after the holiday and decorate them with your own diy heart ornaments for Valentine’s Day. Super easy!

This very simple table setup utilizes an easy to make chain garland in the center and floating above are some heart shaped balloons

VALENTINE’S DAY CANDY FILLED MASON JAR

Do you need a quick and inexpensive Valentine’s Day gift for your sweetie?  No worries, I have you covered with this super easy and snazzy little project.  All you need is a mason jar- any size, ribbon or twine, some stickers – I even offer stickers in my Etsy craft shop here – GOLD GLITTER STICKERS, and some candy.  Any candy is fine!

Just add your stickers (or you can always cut your own in vinyl too) to the front of your mason jar and you can add a sticker on the lid too, fill with candy, and tie some ribbon or twine on the front.  All done!  So fast and easy.  Scroll down for more Valentine’s Day projects!

I have all the favors you need for Valentine’s Day and to help you with decorating an upcoming party.  Here is a sneak peek of the new Valentine’s Decor I am offering in my shops –

This year I have added more hanging fans and balloons to the shops too!

Everything you need for a stunning Valentine’s Day celebration from bags, tags, hearts, boxes, stickers, cupcake toppers, banners and more!

Pinwheels are also perfect for any celebration.

Now for some easy diy projects that you can make yourself at home.

Heart Kisses – So easy to make with some punched or die cut hearts and glued wood picks to the back.  Easy peasy!

Mini heart Valentine’s cards – I’ll actually have a full detailed tutorial next week on how to make these little cards.  Come back next week for the full project how to!

Hanging heart streamer – so simple to create with strips of cardstock paper glued together, folded at the base and rolled ends (use a pencil to roll and shape these) and then glue your two rolled pieces together to make the heart shape.  You can add your string as you make each heart but I find it easier to just use a threaded embroidery needle to thread all the hearts together after you have made them.

More hanging hearts and even easier to make by punching or cutting 6 hearts, folded in half and glue each half side together- don’t forget to add your looped string in the middle before gluing your last heart together.

Flying high with you. . . Valentine Smartie favors made with lifesavers, stick gum, and Smartie rolls into sweet treat airplanes!  How fun to make with the kids too – some glue and rubber bands are all you need.

Owl Pillow Boxes- so easy to decorate.  You can even recycle and use shaped paper towel rolls for these too.

Give a special gift inside a beautifully decorated box for your Valentine.

A Unicorn Valentine card box would be so fun at a classroom party and will hold all those exchanged Valentine cards.  Just use any box and cover with white wrapping paper or layers of tissue paper and add some eyes, ears and of course a unicorn horn at the top!  Remember to cut a slit or hole at the top for slipping all those cards inside!

Many more ideas for simply ways to incorporate Smarties into your Valentine favors or projects too.  Thanks for stopping by the blog!

Craft Room Organization Ideas

Let’s Get Organized & Celebrate My Blogiversary

Before I share some amazing craft room organization ideas – I’ve got lots to celebrate here at  the Party Fetti blog because this week marks my seven year blogiversary and for my Etsy shops!

Can you believe that? SEVEN YEARS is a long time for a blogger to hang in there.  I have followed many blogs over the years that lost steam, were abandoned by the author or just entirely disappeared. It’s crazy to think that seven years ago this week, I launched this party themed blog pretty much on a whim.  I certainly did not know if my business on Etsy would take off like it did and that I would grow and expand every year and still be here! So, to celebrate- I wanted to share my craft room storage recommendations.

Since my business has grown, so has my crafting space!  I now have a separate business office and a work studio and I still feel like I am bursting at the seams.  Keeping things organized and in its place is key to being productive and finding things easily.  Since I am a very visual person, almost all my craft space features open cubes, rolling carts and clear drawers.  Anything that I can not easily see- I label on the outside for quick access when looking for something.  I love my open cubes.

Even my work desk takes advantage of storage space and has open cubes at the base.

I have several pegboards that help keep tools in sight and easy to reach.

I have a walk-in closet in my studio and I use every square inch of it, even hanging some fabric and would you believe my tissue tassels too!

I only make a few party designs with fabric but keeping a good selection of patterns and colors requires quite a bit of space- so keeping fabric folded and in cubes by color is my recommendation.

This year I just purchased several open style wall hanging shelves shaped like houses for more open storage.  They are so adorable!

Come back next week for amazing Valentine’s Day party ideas!

I have also added tons of NEW Valentine’s Day favors, banners and decorations to all my shops and more are coming this week and next week, be sure to stop by my shops by clicking on the links below-

A New Year & New Party Inspiration!

Christmas has been packed away and the kids are back in school.  It’s a new year and it’s time for party planning for 2018, organizing the home, and crafting new projects to keep you busy during the cold weather hibernation and to keep the winter blues away.  Today, I’m back to sharing some amazing party setups, like the one above- and by the way- all fans are on SALE in my party shop, The Party Fetti ShopHERE.

Time to get you thinking about birthdays in 2018 (yep, its a good idea to start planning now) – even if those birthdays are months away.

This January, I will help motivate you to organize several areas of your home and share some diy craft tutorials like this one –

Yay! Who could not love making a little vintage thrift store figure into a fabulous party prop. This would look great on the party table at a little girl’s birthday or in a girl’s bedroom.  There is not much to this crafting project –  grab your hot glue gun and embellish your vintage figurine with a paper made mini party hat and pinwheel, add some fringe crepe paper, a ribbon bow, and top it off with a flower and pom pom.  So adorable! I picked up several different vintage figurines at my local thrift store and I can’t wait to start decorating them to sell as room decor and party props in my Etsy shops.

Since all hanging fans are on sale in my shop right now – I thought I would inspire you with several party table backdrops created with fans.  They are the easiest way to decorate at a party and make a big statement.

A mix of pinks and gold would be perfect for this coming Valentine’s Day celebration.

How about flower themed decor for a celebration in spring like a first communion, a baptism, baby shower, bridal shower or your Easter brunch.
