Remember those funny MAD LIBS you did as a kid. Well, today I’m featuring a funny MAD LIBS with a girlfriend theme. I picked the following ‘paper crafting’ words without looking at the story:
Part of the Body=brain
Article of Clothing=apron
Now here is the story with the words inserted:
A GIRL AND HER GIRLFRIENDS
Every girl needs a few PAPERLICIOUS girlfriends to hit the town with. Friends who will stick by your side through thick or BLINGED. Friends who will CREATIVELY share the check and not quibble over whose turn it is to EMBELLISH the next round. STAMPERS you can call at the very last minute and be ready when you roll up in your convertible SCRAPBOOK with a SCALLOPED invitation to a DISTRESSED party. Friends you’ve known for many TECHNIQUES, who have nursed you through a broken BRAIN, cheered you when you got that well deserved DIE-CUT, and agreed that your designer APRON was a STAMPENDOUS steal. Most importantly, these friends know that type of guy you go RIIIIIIIIIP over and won’t think twice about approaching someone who fits the description of your dream STRAIGHT-CUTTER and asking, “What do you think of my CHIPBOARD over there?”
Okay, that was kinda corny. . .but it was challenging coming up with words that were related to paper crafting terms!
TODAY’S GIRL CARDS
Cheerleader Team Spirit. These are a series of cards I did with all the college teams in our area: Kansas Univ., Kansas State, and University of Missouri (Mizzou). I showed the matching boy football cards as well. I think I need to get busy on some KC Chiefs and Royals for pro spirit!
ONE EXTRA EASTER CARD
I am sending out a BIG Thank You to my followers who have been coming back to my blog and leaving comments! Since I have not had any takers on the Blog Candy girlfriend challenge this week. . .next week, I be reposting the BLOG CANDY on one day next week for just those of you who leave as many comments that day on my blog, and then I’ll do a random pick via an online random drawing submission.
Come back tomorrow for my FEATURE FRIDAY GUEST BLOGGER! Have a great Thursday!
