FREE ART PRINT
Today I was inspired to create this subway art print from the enduring quote by Saint Basil. I was traveling last week and encountered the absolute rudest person on the airplane. Apparently, he was clearly upset that I had to sit next to him because the airplane was full. Really . . . it was the last seat on the plane- where was I going to sit? On the wing? Holy smokes?! I am the one who had to sit in the middle, sandwiched in between two strangers (and I have a serious personal space need and claustrophobia). . . no window to look out or lean my head against and no aisle space to kick my leg out in. Yet, he was huffing and puffing about having to get up to let me get seated. I really had to remember to be KIND and not go all ‘Negan’ on him!
So, I thought this might help to remind myself and others to take a deep breath and try to be more polite to strangers. If you are traveling this summer, please be polite and patient – none of us truly want to be squirreled in so close together on an airplane ride with complete strangers- but it is the nature of flying, so smile and hold your tongue. Soon you will be landing at your destination and back to your comfort zone.
I printed my design and added it to a frame in my home- so I wanted to share it with you for FREE.
